Relay For Life events at the Medieval Faire

Ricci Juliesse announced plans at the June 10 SLTA Awards Celebration for a special 10 day charity event for Relay For Life, to be held at the Medieval Faire grounds sponsored by the UAC (Unmasking A Cure) team.
During Ricci's presentation of the Top 10 League awards at the SLTA event, she announced plans for the Medieval Faire event beginning June 17 and running through June 26.
"I would like to take this time to announce something that is very near and dear to my heart. As many of ye know this is now the season of the relay for Life charity fund raiser season. Four years ago I began a quest to aid in the battle against Cancer and my Grand Joust has became a yearly tradition amongst the jousting community in which many of ye here have participated. Last year I had yet another vision and with the aid of Lord Nyza that vision became a reality.
So tonight I am proud to announce, as mentioned by Headmaster Foreseter earlier, that beginning next Friday June 17th the @nd Annual Unmasking A Cure (UAC) Medieval Faire will launch beginning a ten day event chock full of Joust tournaments, Melee Tournaments, and Archery Tournaments And much more that will be held on a beautifully built Sim in which all proceeds will go toward the effort of the Relay for Life fight against Cancer."
The Faire grounds are a wonderful collaboration by the Unmasking A Cure team of Mary Teodosio.
CHAMPIONSHIPS
Some of the JOUST, MELEE and ARCHERY Tournaments will qualify for the SLTA Championships recently announced, which will be held month to month at the DDA as a Triathlon event. The DDA will have a booth at the Medieval Faire announcing the championships.

The SLTA has long been a proud sponsor of ACU Relay For Life events to raise money from Medieval Tournaments. Ricci Juliesse and Forester Lowenhart organized the first multi-day Relay For Life Medieval Tournament charity events in Spring of 2013 and 2014.
