It all began with a lance...
So reads the headline published April 17, 2014 in the Medieval Herald. It has been over 10 years since that first lance was first sold in the Medieval Designs store, launching the last decade long facination with the 'Sport Of Kings' in the SL Medieval Jousting for full size avatars.
it seems only appropriate, we pause and take a moment to honor many of the major events and individuals who have given their energies to host and attend the tournaments, create and distribute equipment, organize and inform the community, and most importantly, compete in the joust lists for accolades and good fun.
The Jousting League of SL is proud to be the presenter of a special Exhibition being assembled from its archives, and those of the Second Life Tournament Organization and Double Dragon Academy who are long time trackers of SL jousts and events. It will focus on the most formative years of SL Jousting, taking place between 2008 and 2018.
By definition, an exhibition is a retrospective highlighting notable works, rather than a complete history. To allow all to be represented, a request will go forth at the DDA Anniversary and through the SL Tournament Association group, requesting image contributions from any who wish to submit their own memories.

The Museum's Grand Foyer and Hall of Hosts are scheduled to open ahead of the Exhibition and will provide hanging banners to access to submission guidelines. They will also be available during the Exhibition's tenure to collect and continue adding selected submissions to the presentations.
