Renaissance Festival will Support ACS Strides Against Breast Cancer

From September 25th through October 4th, 2020 Second Life and the AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY’s “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” will be teaming with the RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL to fight against breast cancer. This is the return of the Renaissance Festival event, the brainchild of Festival Coordinator Nuala Maracas, Dragon's Lair Archduke Nephilim Ventris (pictured at right), Elite Equestrian Co-Owner Honey Heart and others. Merchant Coordinator is Knight Captain Skysong of Dragons Lair.
Many from the SL Tournament Association ranks will be lending a helping hand in the preparations, contacting creators and inventors in SL, designing the sims that will be used and the buildings therein, and planning and scheming to bring great events like Medieval sport and RP classes to the masses.
Such as Dame Captain Skysong, Lady Honey Heart, Archduke Nephilim Ventris, Dame Duchess Atrasalus, Madame Gyre, Dame Duchess Ariell Fallen Pexie, Squire ѕнanⓣⓡeśśά Μyάⓡieⓣн, Lady Bachelor Kyavel DragonRose, Bachelor Aaron Constantine - Aryan, Squire Skyler Amira Constantine.
There will be a wide range of planned Medieval Game Events to partake in and contribute to.

The SLTA has a long history of helping others through charity jousts.
In 2011 it organized its first charity joust event with the DDA Headmaster and DDA Ambassador King Phy in support of Dogs For Deaf.
In 2012 and 2013 the SLTA and DDA inaugurated monthly Team Charity Jousts with all proceeds going to the American Cancer Society and Juvenile Diabetes.
In 2014 the SLTA partnered with the Medieval Fair’s American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life to plan special team jousts.
