SLTA Celebrates Ninth Season of JOUSTING as it Begins a Decade of Service27 the 9th Annual SLTA Awards Ceremony. Next year will mark a Decade of Service for the SLTA in SL. I am so happy you can be a part of this grand tradition to honor your accomplishments.

For those newly minted, I like to share this quote from Shakespeare’s King Henry V St. Crispen’s day speech as the reason for this event.

“Then will he strip his sleeve and show his scars, And say "These wounds I had on Crispin's day." Old men forget; yet all shall be forgot, But he'll remember, with advantages, What feats he did that day.”

Remembering the feats you did is the reason we place students names on the plaques in the halls of the DDA. The reason Kali spends hours tracking the results of your jousts. The reason our hosts and officials give their time, and the reason why we gather here today.

To remember your feats rightly! And stand the test of time, rather than fade like so much pixel dust should your Realm or you leave the grid. So I would be remiss, if I did not remember those who were here among us once, but are no more, but live on in or memories and the halls of the DDA
